Sincordia Online Backup Service allows you to backup all of your important data remotely simply by downloading our software onto your desktop or laptop computer or server. You choose which files to backup and at which time Sincordia Online Backup should perform the backup. All data is encrypted and stored in three state of the art data storage facilities. If you should need to restore files at any point, it's simply a matter of clicking the "Restore" button and your files will automatically be downloaded to your computer or server.

How does it work?

Sincordia Online Backup automatically encrypts the files you choose to backup using a 448 bit military grade encryption which is far superior even to many of the encryption technologies used in the banking industries. Your files are then sent online using your Internet connection to our three secure data storage centres.
This whole process is made even more secure by using additional user passwords and Blowfish technology, preventing any unauthorised access.

How Much does it cost?

The prices will vary depending on how much storage space you need. For 100GB and under there is a monthly charge of £4.00 per GB, 100GB to 500GB is £3.75 per GB and over 500GB will cost £3.50 per GB a month.
Our MS Plug-in package for Microsoft exchange server comes at the price of £20.00 per month and the Fast Track service is £340.00 a month.

Can I set up Sincordia Online Backup on more than one computer?

Yes, you will be able to install the software up to five times on different machines once you have an account, provided that they are all using either one of Windows or Mac operating systems. if you need to backup from both Windows and Mac systems then you will need two separate accounts.

Can I use my computer while Sincordia Online Backup is backing up my files?

Yes, Sincordia Online Backup is able to run in the background as you use most of your programs as usual, the only exceptions to this being database related files and programs and Outlook.

What is the limit of data I can backup?

How often can I backup my files?

You can set Sincordia Online Backup software to automatically backup your data many times a day if you wish, so long as your computer is turned on and connected to the Internet. With Sincordia Online Backup it couldn't be easier to set the days and times you want to schedule backups.

How long will it take to backup my files?

The first backup will take the longest time as all files that you have selected will need to be uploaded, however any backups after that will be far quicker as incremental backups are used, meaning that only new or updated files will be backed up to our data centres.

How easy is it to restore my data?

Very easy, you simply have to log in to the software, and find the file you want to restore.
You can either choose to restore single files, multiple files, single folders, multiple folders or everything you have backed up.
